No, SMC Nutrition does not offer standardized meal plans as Sally works with each client individually to develop an eating pattern that fits best for them. Sally does work with clients on collaborative meal planning, identifying recipes and foods/products that help each client achieve their goals.

Yes! However, it’s important to know that SMC Nutrition practices from a weight-neutral perspective, and with a non-diet approach. This means prioritizing your wellbeing, bolstering your relationship with food and body, and focusing on supportive eating patterns. We avoid restriction and do not work on rapid weight loss, instead aiming for practical, sustainable changes. All meetings take place virtually, through a HIPAA-secure telehealth platform. Sally is licensed by the state of Massachusetts, but please reach out if you live elsewhere and are interested in working together.

Yes, and most clients have no out-of-pocket cost for nutrition counseling!
SMC Nutrition is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, and United HealthCare. Please check with your insurance carrier about your plan’s coverage for nutrition services.
If you are covered by another insurance carrier not listed above, you may have out-of-network insurance benefits that apply to nutrition services. SMC Nutrition can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company, for full or partial reimbursement for the cost of your nutrition counseling sessions. We recommend calling your insurance company to ask about your plan's specific coverage.
